We have 7 wellness days remaining with the OSU veterinary students that will continue as planned and can be scheduled through our scheduling page. We are unable to schedule any spay/neuter surgeries or wellness appointments outside of these days. We will continue operating at the Franklin County Dog Shelter to help shelter pets in need. If you are in need of a medication refill or records please email us at info@sosohio.org
Shelter Outreach Services of Ohio is a low-cost, non-profit spay and neuter clinic serving low-income families and animal rescue organizations in the greater Columbus area. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of shelter animals and companion animals of low-income families by providing affordable veterinary care and to help reduce the homeless pet population through spay/neuter programs.
SOS of Ohio was established in 2007 by Dr. Melanie deHaan as a mobile MASH clinic serving humane societies and area shelters. In February of 2009, SOS of Ohio was reestablished in its current form as a Humane Alliance style high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter clinic serving both rescue organizations and the general public.
While our primary focus remains spay and neuter, we also offer other low-cost veterinary services, such as vaccinations and treatment for minor illnesses.
Form submissions go directly to our email. Please browse our Services & Pricing page before reaching out, as your answer is likely available on our website! Please also try to avoid multiple submissions and/or emails regarding the same subject as it slows our processing time.
