SOS of Ohio works closely with over 40 nonprofit rescue groups,
humane societies and shelters in the greater Columbus area. We
offer special surgery and testing fees for these 501c3 nonprofit
organizations, reducing costs by up to $20.00 per surgery. Through
combining the efforts of these organizations with our own,
thousands of dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered prior to
finding forever homes, helping to reduce the homeless pet
population on multiple fronts. By providing reduced surgery prices,
these organizations are also able to reduce their operating costs,
ensuring their ability to continue to help homeless animals find
loving families.

Pain Management
We believe that no animal should go without pain medication which
is why we provide every animal with an anti-inflammatory which
lasts through the day following their surgery. Our veterinarians
will recommend additional pain medication if they feel it is of
particular importance for your animal.
Additional pain medication is also available by request for
$10
NOTE: E-Collars are available at pick up for an additional
$5.
E-Collars are plastic cones the go over an animal's head to keep
them from licking or biting at their incision. While some animals
are interested in licking, and some are not, an e-collar may be the
only way that you will know for sure that they will not have access
to their incision. Licking and biting can lead to infection or, in
the case of female animals, allow them to open their incision which
leads directly into their abdominal cavity.
OTHER SERVICES
The following services are ONLY available at the time of
