Due to the significant increase of COVID-19 cases in Central Ohio, SOS of Ohio will be closed for all non-essential procedures beginning December 5th. This closure is expected to last until Jan 6th, 2021 but that date is subject to change as the situation evolves. If you have a sick/injured animal or an outdoor cat you are caring for that needs to be seen please call us as we will continue making appointments for those. In addition, we will continue to see necessary special procedures (such as dental cleanings) as staffing allows. Walk-in wellness will be CLOSED during this time.

What does this mean for you?

If you have a spay/neuter appointment for an owned animal already scheduled in December, you can expect a call from us over the next few days to reschedule that appointment. If for some reason you do not hear from us, please give us a call to reschedule. We will NOT be seeing any general spays/neuters during this time.
If you have a pregnant animal that needs to be spayed during this time, please call us and we will work to get you in right away!

If you are a rescue organization with animals needing spayed/neutered please call us so we can get your animals scheduled, we will continue providing surgery for our rescue partners during this time to help limit any impact COVID-19 changes may be having on your organization’s operations.

If you have an outdoor stray or feral cat in need of spay/neuter surgery, please call us to schedule an appointment. We will continue seeing feral cats during this time. Appointments will still be necessary, but the no-show fee will be waived for the time being. Do NOT trap any outdoor cats for surgery until you have an appointment made and make sure you have a warm place to keep the cat both prior to and following surgery. We will continue scheduling outdoor cats for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

If you have an animal in need of their vaccines, a sick or injured animal, or an animal in need of end of life care please call us so we can set you up with our soonest available appointment. We will not be accepting walk-ins at this time. Appointments will be scheduled Mon-Thurs from 9:30am-3:30pm.
